To be accepted into one of the several universities, polytechnics, colleges, or other tertiary institutions in Nigeria, applicants must first pass the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
You can verify your UTME Direct Entry results and print a copy of your Jamb result slip by providing your Jamb Registration Number or email address. To view their results, candidates must go to the JAMB website.
The results of previous UTME test takers who registered with the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) are now available.
Your JAMB UTME results can now be seen online or through SMS. If you want to get your UTME score back, follow the instructions below.
How to Check JAMB Results Online
- Go to UTME Result Checker portal via https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility_/CheckUTMEResults.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number or Email Address in the required column.
- Click on ‘Check My Results’.
- The portal will load your result if it’s ready.
If your result is ready, the portal will return your JAMB Notification of Result. After that, you may proceed to print the result.
How To Check JAMB Result Using 55019 SMS
- Make sure you have a credit balance of at least N50 on your line
- Go to SMS and send UTMERESULT to 55019 using the number you used for registration.
- After N50 charges deduction, your JAMB result will be send to you.

Login to your JAMB profile through https://www.jamb.gov.ng/EfacilityLogin
Under the list of post Registration e-Facilities (on the left side of the page), click on the “Print Result Slip”
